1. Introduction
Your privacy is important to Duckpins. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information in connection with our services. This policy applies to Duckpins' website, application, and any other digital platforms or services that reference this Privacy Policy. For questions about this Privacy Policy or to exercise your privacy rights, you can contact us at hello@duckpins.co.

Duckpins is not a law firm. Communications between you and Duckpins are not protected as privileged communication under any attorney-client privilege or work-product doctrine.

2. Information We Collect

Personal Information You Provide:
We collect personal information such as your name, age, email address, mailing address, payment details, and any additional information you provide in the process of creating legal documents with Duckpins or in uploaded documents.

3. How We Use Your Information

Providing Services:
We use your personal information to create your Duckpins documents, support you in ratifying those documents, process payment for your one-time and subscription fees, and manage your account. This includes supporting you in keeping your Duckpins documents up to date.

We may use your contact information to send you updates about your documents, information about new services, provide customer support, or communicate policy changes.

Service Providers:
We share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us with payment processing, data hosting, and other necessary business functions. These providers are not allowed to use your information for any other purpose.

We use a third-party notarization and witnessing service called Proof, and your documents will be shared with them when you use their service. Their privacy policy can be found here.

Additionally, all original copies of electronic wills are stored in a nonprofit corporation (Document Registry Corporation, or “DRC”) in order to meet the legal requirements for storing electronic wills. This is in addition to and separate from Duckpins storing copies of all Duckpins documents in its own application.
